Why "Empty the Mind" Meditation Doesn't Work



In the process of meditation, it is often explained to us to empty the mind. But when the mind and subtle bodies are actively trying to empty the self, there are many functions still being performed. It is as if all of the books which teach people that meditation must include emptying the mind, expect people to both poor water into a glass at the very same instant they empty that water out of the glass. This is impossible to achieve. This metaphor of traditional meditational techniques is flawed, because while we can visualize we are doing this, we know that physically it is impossible. This is because thoughts and emotions travel through our minds via electricity. And so the only way to empty the mind, would be to stop all brain functions; death.

So why do so many people benefit from traditional forms of meditation? We all (or most who read this) know people or have heard of people who are healthier and happier because they meditate, right? This is because of the power of the mind. The power of belief is so strong, that if you have read any other articles on my blog, and especially if you experience the healings I provide in my videos, you can know how specific intentions cause actions. And yet, many of the same people still experience regular periods of their lives where they are frantically searching for new healers or healing modalities to try, because they are in so much pain. I know, I've been there many times. This happens because we are not facing our current and past traumas, from this and other lifetimes. You may think, well I've never been raped or been in a car accident or anything that awful. But trauma is any sort of negative experience. Your mother in law always nags you? You have to deal with an awful landlord who won't even spray when there are cockroaches? Even, you still hate that one bully who went at you nonstop in elementary school? You tense up in anticipation of more such experiences or even at memories. The thoughts and emotions become trapped in your physical and subtle bodies. Healing is available in many forms for you; often free, myself being an example. There are many modalities to choose from and explore. Even though you are feeling pain, try to look at it as a fun game, and play with each modality until you find the right one (or often several) so that you can live a happier, healthier life.

As for things like kundalini rising, or other positivity that people experience when they meditate, these are all experienced with energy healing. The true, lasting healing always comes from within. So while at first, we don't know where to start and we hire a healer, once we become familiar with how energy healing works due to people helping us, we feel more confident. Simply allowing an energy healer to begin to work with you on your healing, is a form of you healing yourself. Empower yourself further, by reading ancient texts and / or watching instructional videos on these subjects. But the lasting impression of what's right for you, comes from peaceful, quiet time that you spend diaphram breathing deeply, with intentional mantras, and things like geometry healing and shielding.
