Dangerous, ego-ridden new age trash.
The amount of egotism, and dangerous new age programming trash in this meme is staggering.
First, the twin flame devotee has been programmed to believe that they have an abnormally large amount of intelligence and personal worth.
Then, they have been programmed to believe that the person they are in love with is a connection which is divinely guided by the Universe.
So, thirdly, they are programmed to then not fight their sexual attraction to the person.
This then convinces them that no matter how tempting it may be to break up with that person, because of the difficulties in communication, such as situations that end up being narcissistic gaslighting, they must not.
The end of this is my "favourite" part: the newest member of the twin flame cult is convinced that they are experiencing the heights of love, and they are special, because God only chooses certain people to love each other enough to stay in obsessive, co-dependent relationships.
When we encounter people who post this type of meme or make statements like, "I'm a mystical level 9000 priestess, 144000", it can be tempting to respond with sarcasm, but what these people need is help. Kindness, without enablement. They have experienced trauma which left them vulnerable to the twin flame cult. It's well documented that people who have experienced any type of trauma, often join cults as a way to cope with a situation which is so painful that they feel they can not face it and heal from it.
It makes me sad when people are so hurt that they allow their vulnerability to grow their egos, instead of healing and learning to truly love themselves. So let's be people who love them until they can face themselves.
I'm posting these with the persons name, because they are public posts, and as a way to possibly help others. Don't attack Ellen or Tammie. People only react like they did when they aren't doing well. Send them healing or prayers instead, whatever is your thing.
